So, you’re pregs. You’ve probably been to the doctors and left more confused then you went in, you’re brain feels foggy and all you want to eat is bread. You’re starting to think about the birth you want and how that looks. You hear the world Doula thrown around but think ‘why would I need one of those, surely I can just ‘go with the flow’.

Girl, I was you. I went in to my birth with no expectation thinking that would be best because then I would leave with no disappointments if something went wrong. I was very, very mistaken. I left more disappointed then ever! After working through this myself, I knew I had to become a Doula to help women avoid having the same experience I had.

Prepping for your birth is one of the smartest things you can do, no matter how you want to give birth. Whether it is a vaginal birth, Caesarean, home birth, VBAC, pain relief or no pain relief, I have your back! It is a misconception that Doulas are only for women that are wanting a natural, home birth with oils and me doing a dance around you. Nope! You are worthy of having a birth support team that will be there to advocate for you, listen to you and absolutely have your back and that is exactly what a Doula does. As your Doula, I will provide you with resources and tools that I have learnt through my training to help you having the birth you want. I can’t guarantee a birth, but with continuity of care as well as evidence based tools I can hold space for you so that you leave your birth feeling that you were empowered, confident and safe.

I am extremely passionate about the postpartum period and believe women should be well nourished, emotionally supported and listened to so that they can thrive through this new transition in life. I offer Doula packages to suit all needs, whether you are wanting someone to bounce some ideas off, be there just for the postpartum part or to support you through your pregnancy, birth and beyond there is something for every mama.

As a Doula, I am there to:
